May 15, 2021 was a day filled with food, music, and activities. The Celebration Event was held at the Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The day started with a street team driving the neighborhood passing handouts to neighbors. Over 75 community members participated that afternoon. During the celebration, there was a presentation to hand off the North Central Final Action Plan to the City of St. Louis. Mayor Tishaura O. Jones was there to give her full support of the Plan. After the program, attendees returned to the event where they continued socializing.
